What's Offered:
There are five main sections to Thanksgiving Point's new Natural History Museum. First there's a curiosity garden. (I haven't seen that section yet - the day I went was too windy - so please let us know what cool things they have there!)
Second, there's kidopolis. This is designed for younger children and it is GREAT introduction to different careers. They also have lots of fun introductions to music and rhythm.
Third, they have an engineering section. It wasn't completely finished when I went, but they did have big pretty-much-indistructable foam blocks to build with.
Fourth, they have a waterworks section. This has several GREAT engineering and natural disaster exhibits. Not to mention fun water play. (Bring an extra change of clothes so the kids can go all out!)
Fifth, they have an amazing rainforest section. This has lot of fun science exhibits and a huge playground.
Keep in mind that this museum is designed for younger kids. (Under ten I'd say . . .)
