Sleep in a Teepee

What's Offered:

For part of our Utah history fieldtrip and study on Utah Indians we decided to include the experience of sleeping in a teepee at the Village of Many Nations. This tribe is willing to put together learning opportunities for school groups.  So if you are looking at various hands on experiences- contact this place before hand and see what they are offering.  We enjoyed native american dancing, native flute music, legends, bow and arrow/ tomahawk demonstrations, Dream catcher craft, Medicine Wheel tour ( prayer and cermony Willow) and a movie about the local Rock art.  We created this field trip for a group so you will need to contact them to see what they are able to do for your group.

Summer activity.
