Kimball Art Center of Park City

What's Offered:

The Kimball Art Center is the heart of Park City's historic and vibrant arts community. We are a non-profit center for the arts, committed to engaging individuals of all ages in diverse and inspiring experiences through education, exhibitions and events.

A.R.T.S is an acronym for Academic Resources for Teachers and Students. The A.R.T.S. program is developed by our staff to provide cross curriculum lessons for Kindergarten through Twelfth grades. The Kimball provides this as a way to integrate art into lessons that are based on core subjects such as Math, Science, Reading, Writing, History, Geography and Language Arts. All lesson plans that are created are based on the Utah State Core Curriculum Requirements and correlate to our Main Gallery exhibits.

Each A.R.T.S school tour for the current Main Gallery Exhibition at the Kimball Art Center will include a 45 minute guided tour as well as a 45 minute art project. If A.R.T.S. school tour is in classroom, the lecture and project can be modified to meet time demands.
